The sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Mother of Christ create atmosphere of empathy for the sick and infirm and have always seeks opportunity to help patients who comes to our hospital but cannot pay for their treatments by giving free medical treatment to them. Aside from the medical program, our hospital also spends a great premium to other formation programs to address their holistic development. To meet the needs of the modern times, we commit ourselves to giving holistic services to our patients, students and clients in every field of our apostolate by ensuring efficiency of services. This we maintain through offering regular updates and training opportunities for personal and professional developments to our sisters, workers and students. We undertake these through regular seminars, workshops, conferences and in-services trainings of different kinds. We also introduce them to making good use of modern technologies for greater effectiveness. But most of the times we lack adequate resources and all that is required especially proper instruments like computers, overhead projectors and other modern technological devices for more effective teaching.
In keeping with our founder’s intentions, our sisters are given the necessary educational trainings to meet up with the demands of our different apostolate. Our IHM Sisters are trained in the fields of education to meet up our school apostolate, diverse medical institutions to meet up the needs of hospitals, nursing homes and different health care programs, Theological and pastoral studies, Psychology and Social works to meet up with the various needs of God’s people we serve and to engage in the different stages of our Religious formations. In keeping with our founder’s intentions, our sisters are given the necessary educational trainings to meet up with the demands of our different apostolate. Our IHM Sisters are trained in the fields of education to meet up our school apostolate, diverse medical institutions to meet up the needs of hospitals, nursing homes and different health care programs, Theological and pastoral studies, Psychology and Social works to meet up with the various needs of God’s people we serve and to engage in the different stages of our Religious formations.
In most of the poor and rural areas of many countries in Africa majority of the children do not go to school because their poor parents could not afford their school fees, books, uniforms and other academic materials. Moved by our Charism of Compassion and realizing that the best gift to such people is education we build schools in these areas and through the educational foundation fund provide scholarship program for these children. Indeed many families and their children are benefitting from this foundation.

Evangelization responds to the total and holistic needs of every individual. Thus, our mission aims to responds to the total care of the sick, infirm and less privileged in so doing we represent Christ in our love and support for them and their families. We offer pastoral assistant to the homeless, poor and marginalized in the diversity of their lives. Street children and orphans are at the very service of our pastoral mission bringing about their potentials and capacities to be formed into responsible individuals living with integrity and responsible citizens.
